Tiger Maple End Table featuring Quilted Maple Aprons and Mahogany Legs

An heirloom end table years in the making finally found its’ home early January 2022. Handcrafted with Tiger Maple and Curly Maple hardwood lumber which I acquired in the summer of 2015, I was slow to design, but it was well worth the wait.

Working with a small shop in Vermont, I carefully selected the legs I thought would showcase the beauty this piece had to offer. Solid Mahogany was the final choice and it compliments the maple well. All aprons were given a beaded detail and offset to the leg.

This piece was handfinished with Waterlox Original Sealer, then handbuffed with a paste wax. The sheen highlights all the curls and figure this piece has to offer.
